Morocco City Breaks, a tour operator based in Marrakech (Morocco), takes the protection of your personal data seriously. This page explains what data we collect on moroccocitybreaks.com, why, how long we keep it and what your rights are.

2. Data we collect
- Booking and contact forms: name, email address, phone / WhatsApp number, country, date and number of travellers, pickup hotel or riad, message.
- WhatsApp, phone or email conversations: the information you share with us to organise your excursion.
- Browsing data: pages viewed, device, browser and approximate country, collected by the analytics tools described below.
3. Why we use your data
- To process and confirm your booking, organise your pickup and contact you about your excursion (performance of a contract).
- To answer your questions (legitimate interest).
- To measure website traffic, improve our pages and measure the performance of our advertising (consent or legitimate interest, as applicable).
We never sell your data, and we do not send newsletters without your consent.
4. Recipients and service providers
Your booking data is available to our team and, where necessary, to the driver or local partner running your excursion. We use the following technical providers: our web host, Cloudflare (website security and speed), WhatsApp / Meta and Telegram (conversations and internal booking notifications), Google (Analytics, Google Ads, Tag Manager), Meta (Facebook pixel) and Microsoft (Clarity). Some of these providers may process data outside Morocco or the European Union, under appropriate safeguards.
5. Cookies and analytics
This website uses cookies and similar technologies for: audience measurement (Google Analytics 4, Microsoft Clarity), conversion tracking and advertising remarketing (Google Ads, Facebook pixel) and the proper functioning of the site (security, language). You can block or delete cookies at any time in your browser settings, and opt out of personalised ads at adssettings.google.com.
6. Retention
Booking data is kept for as long as needed to organise your excursion, then for up to 3 years for customer follow-up and accounting. Analytics data is kept for the periods set by each tool (14 months maximum for Google Analytics).
7. Your rights
Under Moroccan Law No. 09-08 and, for visitors from the European Union, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you have the right to access, correct, erase, object to, restrict and port your data. To exercise these rights, email us at [email protected]. You may also lodge a complaint with the CNDP (Morocco) or the data protection authority in your country.
8. Security
The website is served over HTTPS only, and access to booking data is limited to the people who need it.

We may update this policy. The date of the latest update is shown at the top of this page.
